Creamy Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip with Toffee Bits

  • Author: Sarah Wasserman
  • Total Time: 10 minutes (plus optional 30 minutes chilling)
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

This creamy caramel apple cheesecake dip with toffee bits is a quick and easy no-bake dessert that tastes like a candy bar in dip form. Perfect for fall gatherings, it comes together in under 10 minutes with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • ½ cup toffee bits
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 medium apples, sliced (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Fuji)

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, or microwave in 10-second bursts until soft but not melted.
  2. Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Beat with a hand mixer on medium speed until completely smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Scrape down the sides with a spatula.
  3. Sift the powdered sugar into the bowl and beat on low speed until incorporated, then increase to medium and beat for another minute until light and airy.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and lemon juice. Beat on low until combined.
  5. Reserve about 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce and 2 tablespoons of toffee bits for garnish. Fold the remaining caramel and toffee bits into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula. Do not overmix.
  6. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (optional but recommended).
  7. While the dip chills, slice the apples into wedges about ¼-inch thick. If not serving right away, toss them in a bowl of water with a squeeze of lemon juice to prevent browning.
  8. Just before serving, drizzle the reserved caramel sauce over the top in a zigzag pattern and sprinkle the reserved toffee bits on top. Arrange the apple slices around the bowl on a platter. Serve immediately.

Notes

Room temperature cream cheese is essential for a smooth dip. Don’t skip the lemon juice—it brightens the flavor. Garnish right before serving to keep toffee bits crunchy. The dip tastes even better the next day.
