Cozy Leftover Turkey Cranberry Brie Sliders

  • Author: Sarah Wasserman
  • Total Time: 25-27 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders 1x

Description

These sliders transform leftover turkey, cranberry sauce, and brie into a warm, gooey, and utterly delicious meal. Perfect for post-holiday feasts or any time you need a quick, crowd-pleasing dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and sliced into thin pieces
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Without separating the individual rolls, slice the entire block of Hawaiian rolls horizontally through the middle. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared dish.
  3. Arrange the shredded or sliced turkey evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
  4. Spoon the cranberry sauce over the turkey and spread it gently.
  5. Place the sliced brie pieces over the cranberry sauce.
  6. Add the remaining turkey over the brie layer.
  7. Carefully put the top slab of rolls over the filling. Press down gently.
  8. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds (if using), garlic powder, and onion powder. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  9. Brush the tops of the rolls generously with the butter mixture. Reserve a little for later.
  10. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  11. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  12. As soon as they come out, brush the tops with the remaining butter mixture. Let them rest for 5 minutes before cutting.
  13. Use a sharp knife to cut along the seams of the rolls. Serve warm.

Notes

Don’t skip removing the rind from the brie. Don’t overbake. For a crowd, assemble up to a day ahead and refrigerate. Press sliders down before baking. Let rest after baking for 5 minutes.
