Description
A rich, fudgy brownie topped with sweet, juicy strawberries and a swirl of whipped cream. This decadent dessert is the perfect blend of chocolatey indulgence and fresh fruit sweetness, ready in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup (50g) brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (60g) cocoa powder
- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup (150g) diced fresh strawberries
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup (60g) cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Melt 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter. In another bowl, combine the melted butter, 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar, 1/4 cup (50g) brown sugar, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. Add 2 eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Slowly fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture using a spatula. Mix until just combined—don’t overmix.
- Gently fold in 1 cup (150g) diced fresh strawberries. Reserve a few slices for topping.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out. Top with reserved strawberry slices.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Slice and serve with whipped cream for an extra indulgent treat.
Notes
Don’t overmix the batter to keep the brownies fudgy. Use room temperature eggs for better blending. Arrange strawberry slices on top before baking for a visually stunning presentation.
