Description
Bite-sized desserts combining creamy cheesecake, sweet strawberries, and a crunchy coating, perfect for parties and gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, full-fat preferred
- 1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
- 10 Golden Oreos
- 1/2 cup (15 g) freeze-dried strawberries
- Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)
- Melted white chocolate for drizzle (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Chill the mixture for 30 minutes to firm up.
- In a food processor, pulse Golden Oreos and freeze-dried strawberries into a fine crumb. Transfer to a shallow dish.
- Use a small cookie scoop or spoon to scoop the cheesecake filling into small balls (about 1 tbsp each). Roll them gently between your hands to shape them.
- Insert a toothpick into each cheesecake ball, then dip into the crumb mixture, rolling to coat evenly. Remove the toothpick carefully.
- Arrange the bites on a tray and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Optional: Drizzle melted white chocolate over the coated bites before chilling.
Notes
Chill the bites after assembly to enhance flavor and consistency. For a fun twist, add lemon zest to the filling or cinnamon to the crunch coating.
