Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups (240g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup (240ml) milk
- 1/2 cup (115g) melted butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar (for topping)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray and dust lightly with flour.

- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
- Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently with a spatula until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Mix the sugar and cinnamon for the topping and sprinkle evenly over the batter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use almond or oat milk and substitute butter with coconut oil. If the bread starts browning too quickly, loosely cover it with aluminum foil during baking.
