Description
A cool, creamy dessert that combines the nostalgic flavors of s’mores with the refreshing texture of an ice cream bar. Perfect for summer evenings, picnics, or pool parties.
Ingredients
Scale
- Graham crackers (enough to line a 9×13-inch dish twice)
- 2 cups (480 ml) cold milk
- 3.9 oz (110 g) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup (240 g) marshmallow cream
- 2 cups (480 ml) whipped topping
- Chocolate chips (optional, for sprinkling or drizzling)
Instructions
- Prepare the chocolate pudding by whisking together 2 cups of cold milk with instant chocolate pudding mix. Let it set for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Line the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish with a single layer of graham crackers, breaking them as needed to fit snugly.
- Spread a thick layer of marshmallow cream (about 1 cup) over the graham crackers.
- Add the chocolate pudding on top of the marshmallow cream, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- Spread about 2 cups of whipped topping evenly over the pudding layer.
- Add another layer of graham crackers on top to complete the dessert.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Once frozen, cut into squares and serve immediately. Optional: drizzle melted chocolate on top for presentation.
Notes
For clean edges when slicing, run a knife under warm water and dry it before cutting. If the dessert is too hard to cut, let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes.
