Description
Creamy, sweet cookie dough nestled inside a rich chocolate shell—no baking, no fuss, just pure joy in every bite. Perfect for a quick dessert or last-minute party treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for the shell)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heat-treated all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (for the dough)
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate: Place your chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Prepare the shells: Spoon a small amount of melted chocolate into each cup of your muffin tin or silicone molds. Use the back of a spoon to spread the chocolate evenly along the sides. Pop the molds into the freezer for 5 minutes to set.
- Mix the cookie dough: In a bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Add the dry ingredients: Gradually mix in the heat-treated flour until a dough forms. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Fill the cups: Scoop the cookie dough into the chocolate shells, pressing gently to fill them. Be careful not to crack the chocolate.
- Seal the tops (optional): If you want a fully enclosed cup, spoon a layer of melted chocolate over the cookie dough and spread it evenly.
- Chill and serve: Refrigerate the cups for 10-15 minutes to firm up. Serve cold or at room temperature.
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate for better results. Heat-treat your flour to ensure safety. Work quickly with melted chocolate to avoid hardening.
