- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
- 2 tsp (10 g) ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp (30 g) unsalted butter (or neutral oil)
- Pinch of salt

- Prepare the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Make the custard: In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Stuff the bread: Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture onto one slice of bread, then top with another slice to create a sandwich.
- Dip the sandwich: Submerge the stuffed bread in the custard mixture, letting it soak for about 20 seconds per side.
- Cook the French toast: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt butter. Cook the stuffed French toast for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown.
- Coat with cinnamon sugar: Combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a shallow bowl. Roll the cooked French toast in the cinnamon sugar mixture while it’s still warm.
