Description

Soft, gooey cinnamon rolls swirled with creamy Biscoff cookie butter, perfect for cozy mornings or festive gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (500 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) warm water
  • 1 cup (240 ml) warm milk
  • 1/3 cup (75 g) melted butter
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup (120 g) melted Biscoff cookie butter
  • 1/3 cup (70 g) brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 23 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Mix yeast with warm water and sugar in a small bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine warm milk, melted butter, and sugar. Add the yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually mix in flour and salt. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp towel, and let rise for 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough and roll it out into a 16×12-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
  6. Spread melted Biscoff cookie butter evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a log. Slice into 12 equal pieces and place in a greased baking dish.
  8. Cover rolls and let rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and milk until smooth to make the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.

Notes

Use room-temperature ingredients for smoother dough. If rolls brown too quickly, cover with foil during the last 10 minutes of baking.
