Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) espresso or strong brewed coffee
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) chocolate syrup
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk (whole milk or plant-based alternative)
- Ice cubes
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Brew your coffee: Start by brewing a double shot of espresso or 1/2 cup (120 ml) of strong coffee. Let it cool slightly.
- Add chocolate syrup: In your glass, combine 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of chocolate syrup with the brewed coffee. Stir until the syrup is fully dissolved.
- Pour in the milk: Add 1/2 cup (120 ml) of milk to the glass. Stir gently to blend everything together.
- Fill with ice: Add a generous amount of ice cubes to chill the drink. Make sure to leave some room at the top for whipped cream.
- Top it off: If desired, add a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder.
- Serve and enjoy: Grab a straw, give it a swirl, and sip your way to iced mocha bliss!
Notes
For a stronger coffee flavor, use a double shot of espresso. To avoid watering down your drink, freeze coffee into ice cubes. Adjust sweetness by adding more chocolate syrup to taste.
